ApplicationThe International Summer School "Physics of Functional Micro- and Nanostructures" (13-25 September 2010, Hamburg, Germany) offers 26 places and particularly addresses advanced students with a Bachelor's degree, Vordiplom, or equivalent, Diplom candidates and Master's students. If you would like to participate you should complete the application form that you can download here:Application Form (.pdf) Students with research experience, in particular Ph. D. students, should present their research work as a poster at the summer school. If you do not have a current project, you could present, for example, your bachelor, master or diploma thesis. From young students with only a bachelor's degree or equivalent, but without research experience, we do not expect a poster contribution. In order to prepare an abstract booklet, we need an abstract (400 words) from you. Please use the word file that you can download here: Master file for abstract (.doc) Your application should contain the following documents: Application form Short curriculum vitae Short description of your course of study Copies of university certificates (including grades/marks) Letter of recommendation (sealed envelope or separate e-mail by the referee) Abstract (by e-mail, .doc) In case of electronic submission please combine your curriculum vitae, the description of your course of study and the copies of your university certifcates into a single file (.pdf or .doc).
