Harbor Tour

The two-hour boat trip will lead you through Europe's second-largest container harbor and the Speicherstadt, an ancient brick-built warehouse complex.

Final Dinner

At the end of the summer school you are invited to a final dinner at one of Hamburg's typical restaurants with a view to the river Elbe and the harbor.

Lüneburg

A day-trip will take you to the old Hanseatic city of Lüneburg that wants to become part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. It is the City of Salt.

Guided tour

During the guided tour you will get a first impression of the medieval townscape. You will see, for example, the town hall, the old crane (first mentioned in 1346) as well as the churches St. Nikolai and St Johannis.

After the guided tour you will have time to explore Lüneburg by yourselves. For example, you could visit the German Salt Museum to learn more about the small white grains that made Lüneburg so wealthy in former times.
