Financial Support

The summer school is funded by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD) via the program "Deutsche Sommerakademien/German Summer Academies" and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Science Foundation, DFG) via Graduiertenkolleg 1286 "Functional Metal-Semiconductor Hybrid Systems", Sonderforschungsbereich 508 "Quantenmaterialien" und Sonderforschungsbereich 668 "Magnetismus vom Einzelatom zur Nanostruktur". We also thank the industrial sponsors of the Graduiertenkolleg 1286.

Financial Support for Foreign Students

The DAAD supports the participation of foreign students. Thus it will be possible to reimburse some of your costs for travel and participation. The amount of refunding, however, will not be apparent until the summer school has commenced. Any refunding will be at the sole discretion of the organizers.

Donations by our industrial sponsors allow us to support also German participants and to reimburse some of your costs for travel and participation.
