The course of study is divided into a foundation phase, a disciplinary specialization phase, and a research phase.
During the foundation phase, the fundamentals of nanosciences acquired
in the Bachelor degree course are supplemented with compulsory modules
from solid state physics, nanostructure physics, physical chemistry, and
• The disciplinary specialization phase serves to develop the advanced knowledge necessary for independent work in nanosciences.
The research phase consists of a project in chemistry or physics and
the Master’s thesis. The project is to be the scientific highlight of
the Master’s thesis.
